Since 1913, Le Mars has been our home. Our Corporate Center and our two state-of-the-art manufacturing plants are located here in this northwest Iowa community of nearly 10,000 people. Plus, our Wells Visitor Center and Ice Cream Parlor in the quaint downtown, welcomes ice cream enthusiasts from across the country for a sweet treat.
Life in Le Mars
This community works hard to preserve the town’s history while maintaining a progressive economic climate. The town provides a variety of entertainment options for residents and visitors alike including a 27-hole golf course and the YMCA with indoor and outdoor pools. A tour of the town will reveal 13 parks, 9 miles of trails, amazing alley art and murals, and 50 ceramic ice cream cones! Dessert is an obvious choice in this tasty town, but Le Mars, Iowa, also welcomes you to try a bite at some of the best restaurants around!
Le Mars offers both public and private education opportunities. The Le Mars Community School Bulldogs and Gehlen Catholic School Jays are proud to call this place home. Floyd Valley Hospital, an affiliate of the Avera Network is a full-service general acute care, critical access hospital.
