Giulio Carone

Chief of Staff, Business Planning & Development

Giulio Carone joined Wells in September 2023 as Integration Manager, after serving in a variety of roles within the Ferrero Group, and he was most recently appointed Chief of Staff (Business Planning & Development) in August 2025. In this role, Giulio provides direct business support to the Chief Operating Officer, ensures governance and performance tracking of strategic initiatives, prioritizes actions based on business impact, and supports key business development projects. He also leads, coordinates, and monitors key transformation and integration programs, driving change management activities, and fostering best practice sharing across Wells.

Prior to joining Wells, Giulio spent more than 20 years with the Ferrero Group across different geographical areas. He most recently served as Head of Group Industrial Supply & Investment Controlling and Head of Area Europe Commercial Controlling in Luxembourg. Earlier in his career, he led Finance teams as CFO for Benelux and Australasia, served as a Board of Directors member and Company Secretary within the Ferrero Group, and began his career in finance in Germany.
