Chief Marketing Officer
Isabella Chia joined Wells in May of 2023 as Vice President of Marketing, where she was responsible for all aspects of brand, shopper, and omni-channel marketing for Wells. Through her leadership, she helped drive the continued strengthening of the equity of our core brands. This led to her appointment to the Chief Marketing Officer role in 2024, where she added oversight of the insights, global brands, and innovation functions to her responsibilities.Before joining Wells, Isabella started her career in digital media and marketing at Starcom Worldwide, which led her to pursue a career in marketing starting at Mars in 2011. Over the next 10 years at Mars, Isabella served in progressively growing brand leadership roles driving the innovation and growth of iconic brands such as Juicy Fruit, Skittles, Starburst, and Life Savers, before finishing her time at Mars leading Insurgent Brands at Mars Food and Nutrition. In 2022, and prior to joining Wells, she became Managing Director/SVP of Marketing at The Fresh Factory, leading and incubating all aspects of their consumer brands business.
Isabella graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign with bachelor’s degrees in advertising and psychology. She also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
Isabella and her family lives in the North Shore of Chicago, where she enjoys traveling, explores her passion as a “foodie,” and staying active. She is passionate about mentoring and raising the next generation of women leaders.
