Wells and Cone Park: A Cool Partnership
Wells Enterprises is proud to partner with the City of Sioux City to help bring an all-season park to life. The new Cone Park, located near the Lewis & Clark ball park in Sioux City, offers a 700-foot snow tubing hill, outdoor ice rink, fire pit, and warming lodge. During the summer, the ice skating rink will convert to a free public splash pad.
Unique Opportunity
When the Sioux City Parks and Recreation Department approached Wells with the sponsorship opportunity, Wells jumped at the chance. "The park is a unique quality of life addition for the Siouxland area, " explained Wells' Senior Manager of Corporate Communications, Lesley Bartholomew. "We wanted to be a part of something that employees, their families, and the greater community can enjoy."
Wells' sponsorship provides for the contents of the warming lodge, including furniture and concessions equipment. And of course, Blue Bunny, Bomb Pop and Blue Ribbon Classics novelties will be sold at the park all year long!
Families can enjoy ice cream treats and warm up in the lodge after having some fun in the snow or cool off in the summer at the splash pad.It's clear, a sponsorship of Cone Park is a 'cool' deal for Wells.
